Meet up in Oslo?

Are any of you interested in meeting up sometime in Oslo? Would be fun to meet up as we can talk about bilingual and muliti-cultural issues...

I'm moving back to Oslo in May - June, and would love to meet up. Also, if anybody's got English-speaking children, I've got a seven year-old daughter, who's now fluent in both languages. I don't want her to forget her English, so it would be great with some English-speaking play-mates.

Im Norwegian- but married to a Brit.We`re inbetween UK and Oslo.Since I`ve lived the last 18 years in England- im pretty anglofied...

We`re expecting our first baby in June- would love to meet up with somebody in similar situation..

I would be glad to meet as well...although we usually live in Trondheim, I am in Oslo for a few more months...I have a 2 year old son and expecting #2 in late June. Let me know when and where--I could make a suggestion...somewhere downtown is often easily accessible...and with the beautiful weather we have been having, something outside might me nice! What is a good date and time for everyone? If we have lots of kids we could even meet at the new Frognerparken Playground...its a lot of fun....

Great that you all want to catch up. Currently i'm going to a Norwegian course in Torgata so down town suits me perfectly. I do know a really child friendly cafe beside Torgata but for the life of me i can't remember the name, (it feature in Oprah's "Mums around the World"). I was there the other day but my pregnancy brain has forgotten the name of the place. Typical!! I'll find out the name.I had a Glucose Tolerance Test this morning at the Doctors office, it was terrible. Anybody else had it? All was fine though, i'm delighted. Look forward to a big muffin later with ice cream. I deserve it!

Great so many of you want to meet up. I go to a Norwegian course in Torgata Monday-Thursday. There is a child friendly cafe near to Torogata (it featured in Oprah's "Mum's around the World". I was there the other day but of course my pregnancy brain has forgotten what it is called however i'll find out and get back to you. It would be a good place to meet and its very central also. I had an Oral Glucose Tolerance test today at the Docs, iIt was terrible. Thankfully all is fine. Has anybody else had this?. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! I've got a chocolate muffin and ice cream for later. I think I deserve it!

Currently I go to a Norwegian course in Torgata, Monday-Thursday in the mornings so meeting afternoon time and somewhere central suits me fine.Fridays i am totally free. Can we organise a place, date and time? I had an oral glucose tolerance test today, so awful. Thankfully all is fine though. Anybody else had this?

Hey there girls - My husband and I are moving to the Oslo area soon w/our 2 girls (2 and almost 4). I am Norwegian and my husband is Irish (from Dublin).
