Maternety clothes in the US/NYC?

Hi. I'm travelling to NYC soon, and wonders if anyone can tell me where I can get nice maternety clothes in NYC? Does any if the big chaines sell maternety clothes? How are they?

Target has a good selection, and the clothes are usually cheap. The gap also has maternity clothes, but a pair of jeans is $70, and that is a little steep, I think. At Target they are probably $20. JC Penney, Macy's and all those big department stores have maternity clothes. Good shopping!

I got all my stuff at Old Navy. Love that place!! Nice clothes, good prices.

Walmart er kanskje ikke den butikken med de beste moteklærne, men jeg fant ypperlige mammaklær der, samt flotte og billige amme-BH`er! (rundt 100 kroner)

 

Dessuten er jeg sikker på at du finner en Motherhood butikk hvis du har mulighet til å dra litt rundt mens du er der.

Hvis ikke, bestill online før du reiser, og ha klærne sendt dit du skal til USA.

"Destination Maternity" is the place to go. Their "flagship" store is in NYC...on 67th and Madison, I believe. Check the address at www.destinationmaternity.com

 

I absolutely love that store! It's pretty big and even has a maternity spa and workout studio. Just a tip though--their sale section is WAY in the back, on the second floor. The most expensive clothes are downstairs and at the front of the store. Enjoy!

Think she's gonna have problems finding a WalMart in NYC, if that's what she mean by NY....

 

But if she's on the lookout for a cheap store, she might try... damn, what's it called, I pass it every day on my way to work... I can't remember, but it's on 34th right by Penn Station. Walk right when you get out on 34th.

Not sure what they have, but you can check.

K-Mart :-) There's also a K-Mart at Astor Place, but the one by Macys (Broadway and 34th) is probably the easiest to get to. The clothes are inexpensive, but not exactly fashionable. I tend to buy things like nursing bras and maternity underwear at Target and K-Mart, but buy my clothes elsewhere. BTW--Macys also carries "A Pea in the Pod" maternity clothes, but they are pretty pricey. Like I said earlier, "Destination Maternity" on Madison and 64th is the place to go.

I agree with NewYorkMom. I was in NY a while back and bought a lot of clothes at Destination Maternity and PeainthePod at their shop on 67th and Madison (well, I think that was the one I went to). A lot of the clothes I bought were cheap, but very flattering, and I liked the service (you get water, juice, there are toilets etc). I even went to a yoga class there whilst I was on holiday! I bought some expensive clothes at the shop below as well, and love the dress I bought there. I have used it to a wedding already :-)
