Hey, im an norwegian girl having some troubles finding names to my boy or girl. Im with an irish man so i want the name to work in english and norwegian.

 

Do anyone have some sugestions for me???

Same situation as you. Ours are called Emily, Thomas and Anita.

Hi Jane,

We went through the same - I am norwegian and my husband is Irish. Like all the other replies you got - we also tried to get a name that could easily be pronounced in both eng./nor. - and the alternatives do become a little plane and common, but still great names. The problem we encountered, that you might have as well with your paddy, is that there were several suggestions that I had that were shot down bc they were of English origion!!!!!

Like Emily, Victoria, Charolotte, Elisabeth....

 

We ended up w/Isabell and Seline. For a boy we had Patrick on the list (real Irish + it was grandpa's name)

There are pleny of options that are Norwegian names, but easy in other countries too...;-)
