EJP72 Skrevet 11. september 2006 #1 Skrevet 11. september 2006 Hi all, I am currently visiting family in the U.S. and thought I might try to buy a baby monitor here since most likely they are cheaper than in Norway. However, I realize that I have no clue about this. Does anybody have any advice regarding what type to buy? Thanks!
miss.alwayssmiling! Skrevet 11. september 2006 #2 Skrevet 11. september 2006 Well i have to different types A phillips set and a cheap pne i bought at clas olsen. Both of them work exactly how they should do. So to be honest, ask to try them out at the shop it you cant make up your mind =) But do remember to ask if they will work in europe as some of the cheap ones in the us use a differnet sound wave =) (Learnt that one the hard way!)
margitelise Skrevet 12. september 2006 #3 Skrevet 12. september 2006 Hi. I bought a Fisher Price monitor, think it was called sounds and lights when home in the US, but it was almost useless here. So much disturbance in the reception. Instead it sits in the attic, almost new while we just invested in a decent one here. we have a Supernova (I think it's called). I think it's worth a little investment with a monitor, esp if you have the baby in it's own room and you have it on at night. The one we have is quiet except when the baby makes noise. Good luck.
