Well my baby girl is now 1 1/2yrs old. And i was wondering when should i change the bed? I mean there is still plenty of room in the bed she has, but didn't know when she should start having a "normal" one.

We were expecting when our boy was turning 2 1/2. We moved him out of the crib just after his second birthday thinking it might avoid jealousy/anger toward the baby because she would get "his" bed (the crib). Wanted him to forget it was his. Worked out fine. We bought a toddler bed, not full size single and it had a little wedge on the side so he never fell out. Bed was shaped as a car (lil' tykes) so he found it more tempting to sleep there. If you move your baby out early, I think you'll need to have some sort of safety feature on the sides so she doesn't fall out. Why change though if she still has plenty of room?
