Anyone from the US who can help?

Hie! How is the clothes sizes in the US for babies? If i order a dress for a 6 months (US size) old baby, will it fit? Or will it be too big or small?

I'm not from the us, but I do live here

It all depends on how big your baby is, if you order a dress for a 6 mo old, and your baby is 10 mo old, then I'm pretty sure it won't fit

In the us sizes they also have pounds listed as a guide line, one kilo is 2.2 pounds, so if your baby is 7 kilo, divide 7 on 2.2 and you get the pounds, that should help you find the correct size.

I have not had any problems with the sizes over here at all, but as everything else it depends on who makes it and what it is.

I don't think the baby sizes over here are any bigger than what they are home in Norway. And most places here have good return policies as well.

I do know that with adult sizes that the large here is larger than large at home in Norway

What i meant was; my baby girl is 4 months now and if i order a dress, it will be for 6 months old and i was wondering if it will fit her since i wont be able to give the exact measurement. I have no idea how it is in the US

De har preemie, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, 3,4,5 osv

 

Så enkelt er det med str =)

Bestiller du for ei på 6 mnd, så er det like greit å bestille 12 months.

Spørs hvor stort eller lite barnet er, selvsagt.

 

6-9 months er litt knappt til han som er 8 mnd, så nå har jeg begynt å kjøpe 12 months til han i str.

Yes, the US Sizes are so easy. They are in ages. There are the ranges from months and after that 1,2,3,4, 4t (for taller) and then larger. I always go for at least 1 year older just to have some growing room.
