"club for new mums "in Oslo!

Hi!

I am Italian and moved to Oslo just two months ago with my norwegian husband. I am pregnant and due soon: 15th of November!

Someone in a similar situation would like to start a "club" to meet before and after the birth to share experiences? Not only to talk about babies but also to share some nice time and feel that and make new friend during our maternity leaves?

Hei, and congrats on your baby! I would recomend you to write in the "terminklubb november", it doesn't seem like there is too much activity in here..! Most Norwegians know English :-)

Remember that you will also become part of a "barselsgruppe" (maternity group) after the baby is born via the helsestasjon (where the baby gets routine checks after birth). They will organize a maternity group for mothers with babies at the same age so that they can meet around 4 weeks after birth I think. After 2 times the women have to organize the rest of the meetings themselves, eg. meet at someone's home or walk in the park or café with the babies. You will not be alone!
