Coming back home... but nothing is right

Hi Girls,

 

Sorry, this is the husband now talking. I have a lovely family with 2 children 3 and 1. We are just about to move balk to Norway where my wife is from. I have put aside 460,000NOK to buy a house on this move. I would like to know if I am a bad husband for not doing enough.

 

I also have a few questions on this move:

1. If you were in her place, would you rather rent an apartment and have the money to pay for a car and have a nice standard of living.

2. If we buy a house at a high price it will leave us with 13,000NOK to live with (without her having a job), is that impossible in Norway?

3. Small quiz: 1. Would you prefer having money to spend. 2. House you can live in. 3. Not working and enjoying your kids. 4. Live in Africa and enjoy all of 1, 2 and 3.

Husband is making all his best for wife and kids. All honest answers is appreciated.

Hi, have you posted this in some of the other forums as I think there is not much traffic here

 

Im norwegian but live in spain and have been away from norway for about 10 years. Would love to move back! But its very expensive to live there and for my husband it will be difficult getting a job there. So I guess we are stuck here.

 

I think 13.000 is little to live on in norway, but since I havent lived there for so long I wouldnt know for sure.
