Er så florida syk om dagen at jeg holder på og gå av hektene! Lei av 'narrow minded' norwegians! Grrrr....Er mid i en dabatt med jentene's bhg. - at det g9r an og være så firkantet og kalde. Får helt fnatt!! 'Nei, det går ikke - ferdig med det! over my dead body would you be trated like that in a preschool in the US.

 

Så innlegget ditt om sprinkel senger - too funny! I can picture you, LOL. Jeg er 180 og 68/69 kg, så jeg er ganske sikker på at sengen ville knele, he-he.

 

Er du klar for M til og starte bhg. om noen mnd.? var det 50%? Korte dager eller bare noen dager i uken? Tenker veldig på V også. han driver meg vanvidd hjemme om dagen. Synes 1-3 års stadiet er utrolig slitsomt. Er lei av og gå hjemme. Men stakkaren er bare 14 mnd. litt for tidlig for bhg. synes jeg da...

I'm just in the middle of the most chaotic part of my day....Bedtime!!!

S is away for 3 (f....ing) weeks and I hate doing all of this alone. Right now all 3 of them are in the bathtub...5min. to myself..aaaahhh bliss, LOL!

 

Gosh, poor you, I can't believe there are being so difficult about this whole thing, I mean really what's the big (f...ing) deal? Aren't you a paying customer? Shouldn't you be happy, and ofcourse your child? No way this would ever happen i FL, they'd get there asses sued to high heaven!

 

Ok, gotta go be back around 8:30-9:00 :-)

You are so right! In the Fl they would be sued to igonore this issue. Here they are down right rude about it. Rolling their eyes and sighing when I am talking about my concerns...F..ing unbeleiveable!!!

 

In bedtime too - I will come back and 'look' for you after the kids are in bed.

 

3 weeks alone...OMG! That reminds me of Florida....that was the bad part of it. Working 24/7.....I feel for you. Are the girls any help aropund the house? They rpobably got 1000 things going on themselves w/school, activities and friends and what not.

Hi there, back again.

 

Yeah, they would not dare risk a child being put in an unhappy situation because of the possible repercussions, not saying that will happen though, but you never know, these sort of things can have a lasting effect. You need to stand your ground.

 

No, it's not too bad being alone, but in the evenings I really feel exausted....dying for alone time. The girls are pretty good, but yeah, it's a whirlwind here...horseriding, sleepovers, football, dance, you name it. I don't really have time to miss S, he calls and misses us like crazy and I have to "lie" and talk sweet, when really I'm thinking: "I miss you and love you, but I really could do with some help right now!" LOL!

 

We are super ready for BH, I went and bought him his little backpack yesterday, he he! I really can't wait to do something else than, be at home or at the gym ;-)

How exciting w/the little man in bhg. Ooohhh....you will cry though as you drop him thefirst day. i am willing to bet you will not make it back to your car before you cry. LOL. The last little one ready for the society.

 

Is he going fulltime or parttime? Short days or only 3-4 days or so...?

 

I have V on a waiting list for 60% (3 days a week) in a great bhg. I found. But, I was way too late obviously, and he will most likely not get anything this fall, unless several others fall through. I can hope....He is definetly NOT going where I & S is now.

 

Horseriding, that sounds fun. I think Isabell will be into that when she hits that age. She loves horses. Seline will be at the mall with me LOL.

 

Did you see my thread about V throwing everything and hiting? really bad, he-he. I remember M was a little biter. Does he still do that? Did it pass by it self? Little monkeys these boys, LOL.

 

I know what you mean about the evenings. They are killers. I don't mind the days as much. F was never gone for that length of time, but he would never be home (any night incl. saturdays/sundays) until way past the girls bedtime (10-11pm).

Yeah, I know, he's my baby...really bitter sweet! But, it's time. God, I'm gonna end up having another one LOL

 

He's going 80% mon-thurs. I work different days one week and different the next. So I had to do 80% to guarantee that I had "barnepass" for him. Silly, but it was the the only way, barnehage rules!

 

Yes, I read about the throwing, M is just the same! Hits and throws everything, scratches and bites too. I hope things will get better after he starts in BH. When I pick him up after working out, the lady says "Idag har M vært flink".....because he normally is'nt, LOL!

 

Bedtime is a killer, I seriously almost lose my cool every evening! Because of the girls, they really think that they should be up until it is MY bedtime. They use all the excuses in the book. And I fall for it! And in the end, I just say "no, games over, get your butts in bed NOW!!!" and then I feel bad for yelling ;-( I never learn.

 

Did you watch Desperate? Good cliffhanger ;-)

That was a great cliffhanger wasn't it? it is going to drive me crazy over the summer. I vote for Susan - happy united family, lol. Good episode indeed.

 

That sounds good though, 80% bhg. and 80% work. Enough for him to beginn with and probably enough for you too just getting back into it!?! remeber you still have to pull those weeks alone and do housework, he-he. You don't want to cexhaust yourself.

 

I would not mind 60% for V as of Aug. 3days a week, and then look for work 3 days a week. He drives me nuts home every day, he is ready for bhg. too. Just not 100%. But, we were too late w/applicationss. No way we could tell where he would be at this stage. Bummer...

 

Glad to hear mu little thug is not the only one, LOL. I hope it passes. And, hey - I yell every evening I am on my own too. Every time, it is hard! I go to bed consumed w/guilt as well. I try to talk to the girls, either that night or the next morning. try to explain in words they can understand and apologize for getting mad. It sucks. I don't want to be that way. And then i feel I shift my anger and fustration over on F. It is his fault for not being here! he-he...

 

Give a shout if you are here. beautiful weather outside, so probably not..? We just got in from open bhg. He only hit 2 kids today, lol!

Oh - og til fjerteberte:

 

Vi er har begge engelsk/norske familier. Norwegian er amerikansk fodt og oppvokst i Fl, bodd her i 15 år.

 

Jeg har bodd 15 år i utlandet, de siste 9 i Florida og flyttet tilbake til Norge i 07. Min mann er Irsk og vi snakker engelsk hjemme. Min hverdag har ikke vært 100% norsk siden 1992. Tror både Norwegian og jeg foler oss mer komfortable på englesk...? Eller hva sier du norwegian? Jeg har uten tvil snakket mest engelsk de siste 17 årene. Men vi skriver somregel på norsk her inne da. Spesiellt hvis andre også er med på tråden. Jeg merker at det hender det sklir over på engelsk etter 22:00 når oynene blir tunge LOL!

Hey - what plans do you have for the summer? Do you go to FL at all? I want to so bad, but the prices for the flights are sick...Not that I would want to fly trans-atlantic w/monkeyboy until he gets a little older anyways. How was m on the flight to Thailand?

 

Are you heading to Oslo at all anytime soon? You have to let me know if you are, and we have to meet up and at least to a coffe or a glass of wine, or two or three...
