milva76 Skrevet 22. mai 2009 #1 Skrevet 22. mai 2009 We are planning to name our son Elliott. We are both Norwegian. Our only concern is how the perseption of this name is in English-speaking countries. Is it old-fashion, "hillybilly" or do you have any other negative feelings about the name? Will it be ok for a boy born in 2009 to have this name?
Anonym bruker Skrevet 22. mai 2009 #2 Skrevet 22. mai 2009 I like the name Elliott/Elliot for a boy, I think it might be a little bit old fashioned in the UK, but not in a negative way just that there won't be lots of Elliotts in the same class. It is certainly not 'hillbilly' in any way.
StaciJo Skrevet 25. mai 2009 #3 Skrevet 25. mai 2009 A friend of my family back in the States (the midwest) has a son named Elliott. He's about 11 years old. I think it's a great name. Not 'hillbilly' or 'stuck up' either. Good luck :-)
