Bildene fra vinterferien var supre. Skikkelige 'fareless females' disse jentene dine. Så bra!!!

 

Huset ditt forresten er bare drommehuset mitt! Helt ærlig, alle disse årene vi har sittet i FL og snakket om og flytte til Norge, så er det akkurat et slikt hus jeg har hatt bilde av inne i hodet mitt. Lyst i fargen også, slik som deres.....sukk. Det er jo et ganske vanlig type hus her i Norge, men...Håper vi finner det på det rette stedet en dag.

 

V og M ligner begge så på deg i anskits 'features'. Hva med C? Ligner hun på pappa?

Ok - now I am definetly changing my nick. Not the Tv series...Just in general, we are a 'partyoffive'. I guess it is just after 10 years in Orlando/tourist central working in restaurants and themeparks etc. "how many in your party Sir?" - "Smiths - party of 6 you're table is ready!"

Thanks for that! When we bought it in 99 and it was really run down and I told S that there was no way in hell that I was living there, he he! But we totally renovated it and now it is perfect for us! I read your thread about which would you prefer...rekkehus eller enebolig...

 

Have you come to any conclusions?

It is soooo hard. Right now, I just want to move back to FL. But I know that we can't for a nr. of reasons. Finances are down in the drain over there. We hate the summers. The educational system is crap or expensive (private) ++++ But, more over the girls need som stability.

Yeah, things are really bad over there right now according to everyone. Uff, difficult situation you guys are in...don't you think Norway is best for family life? When I was over there, espesically towards the end, I just couldn't wait to get back to Norway and feel "at home" again...probabley kinda what you are feeling right now about FL? Do you understand what I mean?

I know exactly what u mean. The girls r settled, and act like they always lived here. We have a hard time setteling. We like it here, but we are not 'home', and we miss our friends, I really feel like I have fallen between 2 chairs. Too 'norwegian' too stay in FL to the end of the day, and to american/international to settle down in 'small town norway'. Don't know what to do, and I is starting schhool in aug .I fee; so bad for her. She is so excited, but we know Royken was a mistake.....

Listen I know that you must feel a little guilty about moving around, but kids adapt unbelievably fast and very well! Try not to focus on that and do what you and F want...the kids are gonna make friends nomatter where you live... I promise you that, but it is probabley a good idea to "make your minds up" soon, I think things are a harder after they start school...still here?

If we go back to the us, they will be 1 year behind in school. We are thinking about moving back to Asker/bærum, but that is a very expensive area....

 

I has moved so many times, she cried when we told her we 'might' move again....
