Yes, you have to bring the child and the father (F, he he) must be with or you need to bring a power of attorney stating that the child is allowed to renew her/his passport. But give them a call to make sure.

I't has probably been on your mind all day, has it? And I have been sitting here since we talked this morning! Just kidding, he-he. Wouldn't that be sad. After fighting V back into his woolies and snowsuit again, we head to the car and find it completely snowed in and iced. When scraping the door, I see that the door on V's side has a huge gap on top. Like 1 1/2". My God, when i go 80 on the highway it must have been really cold for him. And w/his lung condition...Looks like my door is broken by the constant ice.

 

BTW - you should go to NY. Even if it is not to run the marathon. I would not be able to put it to rest either. You have planned in your head - you have to go. You can always run marathon somewhere else, can't you? And go to NY for your bd celebrations?

No, you're right. I read that on their page. Both parents present for a child under 16 - or the power of attorney.

 

We will have to like take the day off or something. Quite the fieldtrip this...hmf!

The Ny marathon - is it so that they prioritize people w/a US address maybe? Would you be better off using your mom/dad/sister's adr.? maybe there is a qoute for foregin runners??? Just a shoot in the dark, he-he.

I'm sorry for you though. I know what it is like to have your hart set for something and then it gets cancelled. It blows! Particulalry when it was your 'carrot' for working out. You will find something else.

FYI: A dirty little secret about me: I am a DC addict! I drink loads every single day!

I seriously drank 1 -2 L p/day all through college. my roomate was addicted too, so that din't help. I always drank a lot of DC. In the US everyone has their fridge full of soda. here it is so damn expensive! it just when up again! Sugar tax! LOL
