Anyone living close to Sandvika/Asker here?

It would be nice to meet other families with small children around here. I have a dauther that is 2,5 years and a baby coming in March. Hope to hear from someone? I feel quite lonely...

I don't know if you already have tried this, but every wednesday morning, there is an international baby/toddler group from 10:30am until around 12:00 noon or so. Mom's from Uk, France, Canada, Poland...really nice if you are new to the area. You get to network and chat w/other int. women, and your kid gets to play (it is up until 3 yrs old kids). you can pay 60 kr per time, or pay for the semester. they provide some toys, a little snack/lunch and the rent of the room of course.

 

The location is by the Hovik church. Right by E18. Drive into the chruch parking lot, and it is in the little house to the right of it.

Hello! I'm also really interested in networking with other international moms and I didn't know about the int babytoddler group. I was wondering if there are other mom's with small babies within that group? Mine is just 2 months.

I have only been once, and I know there was a couple of babies there - how old I can't say for sure. i will go again next week. Mine is just turned 10 months. i would just show up and have a look if i was you. Then decide what you think further.

That sounds really nice. I guess I then need to wait for the baby to be born first Do you know if they have a homepage where you can read more about the meetings? Who is arranging the meeting?

hmmm, only been there once myself. Planning to try again soon. I live quite far away, otherwise I would go more often. It has been around for a long time. Not sure about a homepage. If you live close, just frop by and have a chat. Even if you are still pregnant.
