Anyone want an African friend in Bergen?

Hello,

I live in Bergen and have my due date 24.02.09 and was wondering if there people close to around this period too. It's been hard finding norwegian friends despite living here for almost 7years, must admit i have none. With maternity leave around the corner, am freaking out on what to do in addition to raising a baby for the next one year. It would be nice to have friends to share some of that time with, send me a mail if anyone is interested.

It is a long time since you wrote your message, but I will try my luck anyway!

I am Norwegian with a German husband. We are expecting twin boys any time now. I am in week 37, witch is when twins are delivered on average.

You probably have your child already, I hope everything went well!

Where do you live in Bergen? I live in Moehlenpris, so I am close to town.

I hope you will read this answer even if it comes a bit late.. There still is a lot of time left of our parental leave!

I am English, from London, and have been in Bergen for 6 months and find it SO hard to make friends despite trying really hard since arriving. I spend time with my Norwegian partner, his family and friends but nothing beats girlfriends right?

 

I feel for you so much that its been 7 years for you. Must of been really lonely. Do you speak Norwegian?
