Carseats

Hi

 

Can anyone give me the details about the law in Norway for carseats for both infants and children?

 

Also, how does this work when travelling by bus/taxi?

Infant carseats are illegal in front seat if airbag is active. Carseats for all children ( infants and older) are compulsory ( spelt that one wrong, I know) up til surten age/ hight I think. Ask in a baby shop or cars dealer.

If travelling by bus you don't need it as most busses don't have seat belts (airport busses do and also got boosterseats but not many). Taxies normaly got booster seats in the boot, but you might have to ask for it.
