Norway with children.. Anyone?

Hi.

 

We're a family of 3 who are going to Norway for a wedding this late summer. The wedding will be in Oslo, and will be going on for 3 days approx. We were thinking of making an extended trip and see some other cities/mountains/fjords of Norway. Anyone who has a tip? I've heard so much about nice little cabins in Norway, but we dont know anyone who has one.

 

Our child is 1.5 years by the way.

 

Its also nice if it isnt too expensive(last time we went to Oslo it was expensive as hell....)

Hi, if you're after a cabin, try chech out http://www.turistforeningen.no/english/

They have 450 cabins around Norway and good prices. You have to trek to reach many of the cabins, but others are reachable by car. Are you going for three days alltogether? If you want to see mountains and fjords you might consider spending a little more time. You need to go to the west coast to see the real thing, around 500 km from Oslo.
