I am sending wedding invitations to England, and I am wondering how to end them. In the Norwegian ones we have put 'Med vennlig hilsen'. In the English version I'm thinking of putting 'Sincerely'.

What do you reckon?

Thanks! :)

I think sincerely should be okay, or with kind regards. I am not really sure on the protocol in England, I think it may be a little more formal than where I am from. If your fiance's family are from England perhaps they can help? I had to ask svigermor about Norwegian invitations as my husband had no idea!

The other thing I would recommend is to check you have used English English, not American English.

Lykke til!

I think "kind regards" is the better option.

Sincerely sounds a bit "cold".
