I'm Norwegian, but married to a Canadian :-)

Just wondering if there are more of them in this country :-)

Could be fun for him to meet up with some other people from his home country :-)

No, but I just wanted to say hi:) I'm also married to a canuck, but we're living in Canada (for now). Planning on moving home in a couple of years, but first I've got to teach him Norwegian, and that is proving to be a bit of a challenge... Just curious, how did you do it?

If you are married you get free Norwegian classes when you arrive!!! 500 hours of classes or so..... I am married to a canuck as well..... what part of the Vancouver area?????

Hey, I just remembered that I wrote in here, and have forgotten to check if I got any answers :-)

Well, my husband didn't know any Norwegian when we moved here.

He took a Norwagian class and started at a level too advanced for him (they put him in the wrong class obviously, cause he had a hard time catching on). He quit after a few classes, and after that he has just been learning little by little. He still speaks mostly English, but knows enought Norwegian to get by.
