I would like to find a Hungarian name for my next child.

My father is Hungarian and although he can't come up with a lot of names just now, here is a short list. I will ask my grandmother, for whom this would be far more important. :-)

 

Boys: Jozsef, István, László, Zoltán, Janos, Miklos

 

Girls: Csilla, Zsuzsi, Sári

 

Are you Hungarian, or your husband? I would love to have named one of my children a "real" Hungarian name, but my husband didn't agree. Now we just pick names that can be pronounced correctly in both Norwegian and English without sounding like different names.

Have not find the right name for girl yet, maybe Katalin?.
