Help please? My baby wont eat..

My kid is really really hungry.. But she wont eat. She sucks her fingers and pacifier, and screams for food, but when I try to feed her, she will only joke with the bottle, eat 2 zips and done with it..

 

What should I do? I can hear she's hungry from the noise her stomach is making..

Try feeding her with a spoon or a small cup. Sometimes they refuse to eat, still they are hungry! Try pouring the milk directly into her mouth, and hopefulle she will drink it.

Is she eating a lot during the night? My baby ate much better when she didn't get milk in the night. Of course, you shouldn't stop feeding her at night if she's younger than 6-7 months or something.

She is 3 months. Last time she ate was 06.

Before that 00.00.

 

She is crying and she "partly" takes the bottle. For some zips as i said earlier.

After 2-3 zips she turns her head backwards and breaths in heavily like she is swallowing air and then she looks all red and gasps out atlast.. Its pretty frustrating and a bit scary, she has absolutely no fever either.. Crying, turning and hungry.. My poor Ameliè

Sounds like she has problems breathing trough her nose. Has she got a cold? Try drippping either breastmilk or sailinwater (from the pharmacy) to unclog her nose.

She has a little bit of a cold, coughs sometimes.. This is really hard for me cause I would very much want for her to eat now..

 

She doesnt want breastmilk (just recently got my milk back), not replacement and really nothing. Just doesnt want the food, only cry for food. I dont know what to do, this happens EVERY day and when i call the doctor she says "this is normal , just try more".

 

But what to do when this happens every day, mostly at day-time..

Maybe you should try bying a different brand of bottle? Its worth trying.

She doesent drink anything at all with a spoon?

The nose thing someone mentioned here is important. 2-3 drops of breast milk in to her nose (each side). In a few minutes her nose should loose the clogs. Some babyes wount eat at all if they cant breath good enough through the nose. They cant breath and suck/swallow at the same time, and they get scared. So they just wount eat at all. But a baby needs food, for sure. Try the nose-tric and try again.

If nothing works, boil 100 dl of water, and stirr in a big tablespoon of white sugare. Give her a couple of spoons of that (in a bottle if she will eat it). Right now she is really hugry and frustrated. It wery often works fine with mor milk after getting some sweet water.

I've tried Dr browns (no-show), MAM - nope, NUK - nah, Sano (puke puke puke and Avent. Avent is te only bottle she takes. I'll try the other ones now but this is driving me mad.....
