partyoffive Skrevet 4. august 2007 #1 Del Skrevet 4. august 2007 We just moved from the US to Norway. Like idiots we brought our Plasma and a whole Hometheater System w/the promise that it was going to work no problem w/this fantastic converter kit be bought. Well....we can't get it to work. The TV is one year old, it is a 37" HDT Plasma, Panasonic. Looks and works (in the US..anyways) as a brand new TV. Anyone who is moving that way and has a shipment going anyway and wants to save some money???????????? Sue35 Skrevet 12. november 2007 #2 Del Skrevet 12. november 2007 All you need is a 1600 (or larger) watt transformer, and you can hook up your plasma, and whole entertainment system to a surge-strip, then to the transformer, and then into the wall. We are military and just moved back to the US from Italy, and that is how we did everything there. Contact the US embassy, the marines working there for sure knows where to get one of those transformers. We sold ours to another military family when we left. Do you also know that all your lamps can be used in Norway as long as you put a converter on the cord (a thing that makes the 2 flat thingies into 2 round ones), and use 220v lightbulbs (not the 110 v us ones). It took us buying 4 new lamps beofre we found out.... Hope you like Norway, and don't freeze to death there....especially coming from Florida!!! Yikes!
