Extremt bra immunsystem?!

Hei!

 

Min sønn blir 3 år i mars og har aldri vært syk. Det er så vidt han har vært småforkjølet. Kjenner ingen andre i hans alder som ikke har vært syk. Er det ganske enestående?

 

Tror nok at grunnen til at han ikke har vært syk enda, er en blanding av et godt arvet immunsystem og at han ikke er vaksinert (selvfølgelig også sunn mat og masse ute i naturen).

 

Er det flere her som har så extrem friske barn?

Jenta vår som er 5 år var heller ikke mye syk før hun var 3. Hun har i det hele tatt ikke vært så mye syk. Jeg tror at det har mye å si hvordan immunsystemet er, sunn mat og frisk luft også. Men jeg tror også det kan ha litt med tilfeldigheter å gjøre. Hvilke mennesker en omgås, og hvordan en omgås dem, har sikkert betydning. Eksempelvis er mannen min lærer på en barneskole, så vi får kontakt med det meste som går av sykdom!

 

Hva har det at han er vaksinert med saken å gjøre? Skulle han være mindre syk av den grunn?

Han er IKKE vaksinert. Det har med saken å gjøre at det har vist seg at uvaksinerte barn ofte er mindre syke enn vaksinerte.

Do vaccines weaken the immune system?

A: Vaccinated children are not at greater risk of other infections (infections not prevented by the vaccines) than unvaccinated children. On the contrary, in Germany, a study of 496 vaccinated and unvaccinated children found that children who received immunizations against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) and polio within the first three months of life had fewer infections with vaccine-related and unrelated pathogens than the non-vaccinated group.

 

Bacterial and viral infections, on the other hand, often predispose children and adults to severe, invasive infections with other pathogens. For example, children with pneumococcal pneumonia are more likely to have had a recent influenza infection than other children. Similarly, varicella infection increases susceptibility to the ‘flesh-eating bacteria (i.e., group A strep).
