Worried.....

Hi all,

 

Apologies for writing this in English but it would take me forever to write this in Norwegian (but please feel free to respond in Norwegian). I would have posted this on the English forum but it is pretty quite there these days...)

 

I am 11 weeks pregnant and started having some very light brown spotting this morning...have not had this at all so far.

 

Can this be normal? I can't stop worrying!

I think one in four has some spotting in early pregnancy, some all the way through. Your mucous membranes are working hard and getting thinner, so little blood vessels breaking - very common. Contact your GP or midwife if you're worried, some prefer if the pregnant woman reports all signs of bleeding. Cramping, heavy blood loss and pain are the main signs that some thing is seriously wrong, so I'm sure you're all right. Best of luck!
