noggie Skrevet 5. februar 2010 Forfatter #27 Skrevet 5. februar 2010 Hi, We're now up and running as you can see on the website, with a few hickups in the beginning. Hope those of you that have been there like it and will use us. Talking to the mattilsynet about importing the meat and the kommune about selling beer. They told us it will take a few months to go through their system, so fingers crossed.... We're hoping to have a stand at Nannestad days in June( 11th- 13th) with sales and samples. We haven't got the shoping cart in the system yet, as we are trying to keep prices low as possible and the use of shoping cart bumps the prices up. For the moment we just send the account number as mail or text and as soon the money is in the bank we ship the goods and send tracking details to you, or you pay when you pick up the goods/ we deliver it. If you have any suggestions let us know here or at the website.
Mirela Skrevet 6. februar 2010 #28 Skrevet 6. februar 2010 Hi, Not sure if I have missed it somewhere along the line but I don't see you web address. My husband is British and I am sure would love to see some British products available in Norway too. Come to think of it I would like it too. As someone also mentioned Mothercare products would be great too but not sure if you are able to supply anything like that. Good luck with this project!

I'd say that lots of things you mention are easy to get - e.g. heinz tomato soup, kelloggs, weetabix, cheddar, "real bacon", most biscuits I've seen in England, etc. More expensive here, I grant you, but still... As for coffee and tea, there are plenty of good quality coffee shops, at least in the area around Oslo. And some of the better stores also have a good and varied selection of coffee and tea. Good quality meat can be difficult to find, but not lamb - Norway has excellent lamb meat! Beef is quite another matter.
